今日は役場で行われた鞍手町会議を傍聴させていただきました。様々なテーマについての一般質問に対し、議員の方々と徳島町長はじめとされる行政の各担当の方々による質疑応答が行われました。 各テーマ・問題に真剣に話し合う現場を見させていただきました。

Today, we went to see the town council. It was our first time to see the general Interpellation between the local councilors and the town government. The each topic was discussed very carefully.

和牛レストラン「ふるの」へ行きました。鞍手駅近くの畜産農家が営むレストラン、ランチタイムは沢山のお客さんで大繁盛でした。

レアに調理された柔らかいお肉が、お塩で旨みがさらに引き立つ「ふるの牛特選ステーキランチ」と肉汁が溢れ出すしっかりとお肉の味が堪能できる「ふるの牛ハンバーグランチ」を注文。

We went to "Furuno Wagyu Restaurant" which is own by a local cattle farmer. This place is located by Kurate Station, and it was busy for the lunch time.

We ordered "Prime cut Furuno stake lunch" and "Furuno hamburg lunch" The rear cooked tender stake was served with special salt which complement it's flavor, and the juicy hamburg guarantees the satisfaction by it's quality.

隣接された直売所では、レストランんで味わった、良質のお肉や地元のお野菜なども販売されています。

They sell different type of fresh cut meat, and also varieties of the local veggies at the store next next door.

今朝予定されていた室木小学校の生徒による駅伝は、小雨のため延期になってしましたが、その後の餅つき大会へは保護者や室木地区の方々が大勢お集まりになり、予定通り楽しく開催されました。多くの方々のご協力により、朝早くから準備も行われ、餅つき大会のスタンバイはOK！

The relay road race at Muroki elementary school was postponed due to the rain, but the annual event of Rice Cake making was held at the school as it was originally planned. The parents and lots of other neighbors of Muroki have joined the event, and it's preparation was done by many of them from an early morning.

次々と蒸し上がるもち米を、みんなで力を合わせてつきました〜♬ ちぎって丸める作業もご婦人方に教えていただきながら、大根おろしやきな粉のお餅ができあがりました！ つきたてのお餅をいただきながらみなさんとお話もでき、とても楽しい餅つき大会でした。ありがとうございました。

The steamed sticky rice was pounded quickly by all the students, and then they were separated into individual pieces to prepare different flavors. The freshly pounded rice cake was very hot and sticky to handle, however the kids did a great job with the help of local Mmes. We had great time talking to many locals of Muroki with the fresh home made Mochi (rice cake).

今日の午前中は「道の駅むなかた」へ行きました。鞍手から車でわずか40分ほどで、少し風が強かったもののドライブには最高でした。

渋滞も無く思ったより早く到着したので、まずは直売エリアをじっくりと。刺身や干物やみりん漬け、たくさんの魚介が並んでました。そしてほぼ開店と同時に、さっそく「おふくろ食堂 はまゆう」へ。できたてのお惣菜を取り、少し早めの昼食をいただきました。お刺身や焼き魚、美味しかったです〜♬

We went to "Michinoeki Munakata" this morning. It was only 40 mins. away from Kurate, and it was perfect for a short trip on a nice sunny day.

There was no traffic on our way, so we arrived quicker than we expected. We checked all the local seafoods in the market area. Then, as soon as the restaurant opened, we had an early lunch. Sashimi and grilled fishes were sooo good〜♬

道の駅でお腹いっぱい食べた後は「宗像大社」に寄り、参拝させていただきました。今日は急に冷え込んだせいか、参拝に来られている方がほとんど居なかったので、静かな境内をゆっくりと散歩してから鞍手へ戻りました。

After the lunch, we stopped by Munakata Shrine. Probably for the sudden drop of temperature, there were very few visitors, so we got to have quiet time at the precinct before we drove back to Kurate.

本日は一日冷たい雨のようです。最近は雨の多い鞍手ですが、カラッと晴れる日を待ちながら、今日はこちらで勉強をモリモリ頑張ろうと思いま〜す♬

Another rainy day in Kurate. We will study hard while we patiently wait for the Sun to come out ♬
