鞍手町移住体験ブログ

本日の午前中は、室木小学校の体育館で「遊びの森」により開催された、食品サンプル作りに沢山の小学生と一緒に参加させていただきました〜♬

We joined an event this morning which we tried to make some food samples with many local kids〜♬

今回お世話になったサンプルRiKiさんは、1950年より九州初のサンプル製作会社として日本国内だけでなく、海外のお客様へもこの日本で生まれた技術を紹介されていらっしゃるそうです。

Sample RiKi was established in 1950, and they have been introducing this Japanese tecunique of food sample making to the world.

自らトッピングなども選んで作ったサンデーだけで無く、昔では主原料だったロウを使ったレタス作りも挑戦する事ができ、みんなで楽しく過ごすことができました。
Every one chose own toppings for the ice cream, and also we had a chance to try making lettuce with the canddle wax which was used as a main material. We had so much fun!

今日は、ご近所の和愛さんもご一緒に3人で、また「あの」山小屋にお邪魔しました！今日もお昼をごちそうになってしまい、食後はテラスで、気持ちの良い風に吹かれながら、みなさんとゆっくりなひと時を。そして最後には、薪割り＆チェーンソーも教えていただきました〜♬

Today, we went to the log house again with Kazue (our new neighbor friend) They prepared lunch for us and we had some relaxing time together. At the end of our visit, we had a chance to chop some woods and to learn the chainsaw〜♬

今日もう一つの初体験は、福本工房さんの「福ちゃん饅頭」

"あずき"をいただきましたが、もぉっちりとした皮と甘さ丁度の餡が、とても良いバランスでペロリと一つ行ちゃいました〜♬

今日はブラックコーヒーと一緒に、美味しかったです。

この移住体験が始まってから、私たちが常に感じる鞍手町最大の魅力。それは、ここに住む方々の暖かさと、地域を支えている一人一人の「力」

その魅力をお伝えするため、私たちなりにこんな企画を考えてみました。

題して「鞍手の手」
地元で働く地元の手。
鞍手を支える鞍手の手。

Since the beginning of our stay,
the warm and cheerful hearts of local people have been our strongest impression of the town of Kurate.

In order for us to share this great charm of the town, we came up with this idea. The title is... 「The Hands of Kurate」

第一回目にご登場いただく方は、私たちも大変お世話になっている、嶋立 輝行（しまたて てるゆき)さん。

「おぎゃーと泣いてた子が、もう小学６年生だよー」と話してくださった嶋立さん。約１２年前に警察官として鞍手町へいらっしゃいました。定年されてからもここへの定住を決意され、現在は民生/教育委員としての多忙な日々、また地域の子供達やそのご両親と一緒に「遊びの森・鞍手」にて、毎月様々なイベントを企画運営されながら、勢力的に地域を盛り上げてくださっています！

まさに「いつも明るく暖かい、頼れる地元のおっちゃん」です！！！

For the first time of 「The Hands of Kurate」 we would like to introduce Mr. Shimatate.

He came to Kurate as a police officer about 12 years ago, and he decided to continue to live after his retirement. Since then, he has been a part of local board of education, and also organizes monthly events for the local children through a group call 「Asobi no Mori-Kurate」

昨日、ご近所にある円覚寺さん裏山に建つ山小屋へお邪魔しました。

地元の方々による、総手作りのログハウス。「この山で伐採された木は、ちゃんとここに戻してやりたかった。不揃いだけど、今はログハウスとして、こうしてここでしっかりと建ってますよ！」とお話しされた三宅さん指揮の元、急斜面に５年を掛けて建設され、そして現在でもまだ、地元への希望と共に着実と進化を続けている、とてもとても夢の溢れる小屋でした。
We went to a log house on the mountain behind Enkaku Temple which is about 10mins. from our house. It was built all by the hands of local gentlemen. "We wanted to bring back the trees which were cut down here, and now, they are back on this mountain as a log house for many more years to come!" says Mr. Miyake who has been leading this project for 5 years. It still continues to transform along with their greate passions and hopes for their home town, KURATE.

沢山お話を聞きながら馳走になった、まさかのタイカレー〜♬ すっごく美味しくて、おかわりまでいただいちゃいました！嬉しかったで〜す。

みなさんの熱い想いにグッときたけれど、アレはただ...カレーがスパイシーだったからですね？（笑）
